I'm thrilled for the new challenge and I can't wait to see what comes next. It's been a long time coming and we are both thrilled for the last chapter in my book to be closed...and for this one to finally start! Thanks for all of your love and support... I will be an Inside Sales Representative selling the Rayovac Hearing Aid Battery to Audiologists across the Country.

I'm very excited... :)

Sarah's Sweet 30th Birthday Party

Happy 30th Birthday to Sarah Mahoney. Sarah had a Super Sweet 30th Birthday Bash at Logan's Bar downtown. Party dresses, champagne, cupcakes, and a giant beer bong. It was a blast and we were so thrilled to be a part of her special party! Happy Birthday to Sarah...

HAPPY BADGER SATURDAYS!!!
It's officially the best time of the year! Tailgates, friends, beer pong, and Badger WINS!! This past Saturday, September 11th was the first Badger home game. Casey helped score some tickets to his Charlie 105.1 tailgate sponsored by Budweiser. We stopped by for some tasty beers and some Quaker Steak & Lube. Then back to the 1511 Madison Street tailgate to party with the regular crew. The Badgers beat San Jose State and are now 2-0! Next weekend is Arizona State...bring on the tailgating!!!

Endless Summer...

It's sad to see the summer come to an end. This summer was filled with family, fun, sun, and laughter. We spent 6+ weekends in Alexandria, a weekend at Kyle's cabin, a trip to San Francisco, 2 of my best friends got married, many hours on the boat, and great memories with family and friends. It's sad to say goodbye to the boat, Alexandria, Summer Shandy, long daylight hours, golfing, sunkissed faces, baseball, volleyball, shorts, skirts and more. Although some of those things are left behind as we move into Fall I'm excited and ready to embrace...apple picking, pumpkin patches, FOOTBALL, NFL Ticket, more time in the Hot Tub, leaves turning colors, open windows, Anniversaries, Holidays, and new memories. Fall will be very busy but we won't be traveling nearly as much. Goodbye summer...but hello to falling in love with FALL!!

Summit Lake, Outdoor Football, and Larry's...

Labor Day weekend we headed up north to Kyle's cabin in Summit Lake, WI. It's 3 hours from Madison. Going to the "Northwoods" is always interesting. We love taking in all the "local color" as Scott's Dad would say and doing fun up north activities. We watched college football ALL DAY by a bon fire, went on ATV rides, went to towny bars, boat rides, and enjoyed the last weekend of summer.

Fresh Veggies & Trees...

Scott's Dad (Jim) was so very kind to come to Madison before things got crazy with fall, football, and school. Jim helped us plant 2 beautiful maple trees and 3 evergreens in our yard. It was raining and muggy the entire day of planting but we all survived. We got done with our landscpaing early so we took a trip to Wollersheim Winery and loaded up on a case of wine. Thank you Jim for all your hard work. We had an amazing time spending time with you, digging holes, tasting wine, and lounging. We can't wait to see you for the Gopher vs. Badger game!

This summer we decided to outsmart the mean little rodents in our yard by building a fence around the garden. With my Dad's free labor and assistance we've been able to enjoy many more veggies this summer. We've almost had TOO many veggies. We decided to have some fun with the fresh produce by preserving the goods. Linda (Scott's Mom) gave us a recipe from Scott's Grandma Helen for Bread & Butter Pickles. We've also made Canned Jalapenos, Mike O'Malley's famous salsa, Homemade Spaghetti, and Pico de gallo. Here are a few pictures...
