The Deck...
This past weekend was the start of our deck building project. Our family friend, Jiggs, is building the deck for us. A few weeks ago we had to move the Hot Tub, a hard task, but I only had to supervise. He started on Thursday with the posts. Then on Friday the majority of the decking was completed. Unfortunately the rain came through Madison and the project was delayed for the remainder of the weekend. More pictures to come as the project continues...
A Minnesota Visit...
This past weekend we took a trip up to the Twin Cities to visit the Hinrichs' crew. We spent all day Saturday at the Gopher vs. Penn State game. It was a little weird wearing maroon and gold and not cheering for the Edgewood Crusaders. Although, it's ok to cheer for the Gophers if they aren't playing the Badgers, so we did. Unfortunately, the Gophers lost, but it was still a great day with family. We then went home and watched the Badgers BEAT Iowa!! It was an exciting game! Here are a few pictures from our tailgate...

10.18.08 - - - 2 years!
Last night we celebrated our 2 year Anniversary. We were both terribly sick but we were looking forward to celebrating so there was NO stopping us. We went to our favorite Steak House, Tornado Room - a Madison original. It was a very special day with many surprises, smiles, and laughs. These past 2 years have been incredible...
A special thanks to some amazing people that made our anniversary very special! You know who you are and we thank you for it. Also, thanks to everyone for the kind wishes...we are very blessed!
Happy Scott...so happy he forgot to open his eyes :)
Field Trip Time...
A little pre-anniversary celebration/field trip to the Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard. We spent the Sunday afternoon before our Anniversary at Eppelgarden. We were both incredibly sick but managed to get out of the house for a fun activity together, it was totally worth it! We picked some extra juicy fugi apples that taste delicious. We grew some pumpkins in our garden this summer, so we took home one BIG pumpkin and an itty bitty pumpkin.

Night Game = GOOD GOOD NIGHT!
#1 Ohio State + #18 Wisconsin + GAMEDAY + Night Game = A GOOD GOOD NIGHT! It was Sweetest Day and my only wish was a Badger Victory. This was the most exciting game I've ever witnessed (besides the Ohio State upset in 2003). We ran to our seats to make sure we didn't miss kickoff. The stadium was so loud and intense. I'm so glad we got there on time because Gilreath received the kickoff and ran the ball back 97 yards for a touchdown. It was incredible and the entire Stadium was screaming. That was the beginning of an incredible game. The badgers upset the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes 31-18. Even though they asked us not to, we stormed the field! Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I took throughout the day and the game...
