Carapalooza...

... CHEERS...

The celebration begins...it's CARAPALOOZA 2011...
Better yet...it's a GOLDEN year :)

O-Town...

420 miles...to Omaha, NE...or BUST!!

We jumped in the car on Good Friday (I had "Spring Holiday" at work) and drove through Iowa and into Nebraska. We went to visit Scott's Grandparents and his Aunt and Uncle. Jim & Linda (my in-laws) are from Nebraska originally and Amy followed in their footsteps and went to NU. It's always fun to visit Nebraska and spend time with family. Here are a few family pictures...

Hearing Aid Battery Plant...

On April 20th we had our Quarterly meeting at the Rayovac Hearing Aid Battery Plant in Portage, WI. A day full of meetings, tours, and small batteries. Here is a picture of my "Personal Hearing Aid" team.

Girls Weekend 2011...

Every year my BFF's from High School get together for a destination GIRLS WEEKEND! This year we were off to Vegas. Sadly, this year my girls weekend didn't happen and it was spent in Madison...with a boy. My flight out of Madison was cancelled due to 40-45 mph winds. By the time I would have arrived in Vegas I would have needed to get back on a plane and turn around. I was very sad to miss my time with my ladies. Although, I'm glad they still managed to have some fun without me ;)

You can check out Sara's exciting comments from their Vegas trip on her blog...

Hopefully I will get to see them very soon!! Miss you guys!! :(

Bright Lights Big City...

This past weekend we were off to NYC. Scott has worked incredibly hard this year and he was rewarded with a trip to NYC. It was a short trip, but it was nice to get away and explore a city that neither one of us had ever been to before. The weekend was planned for us with activites and it was a great way to see the City in the short 48 hours that we were there. Here are a few pictures to capture our great trip...
John Lennon Memorial in Strawberry Fields

Entrance to Central Park Times Square at Night
Paul, Ed, and Scott
Times Square
Cathedral Church of St. John the Devine - largest in the WORLD
The Courthouse from Law & Order ;)
Battery Park - Statue of Liberty in the background
Radio City Music Hall/30 Rock
A stop at Magnolia Bakery...
Our treats...
"The View" revolving restaurant on the 49th floor
The Today show set at Night...

iPad 2 :)

After 10+ days of little to no sleep...we FINALLY got he iPad 2!! The day we finally got the iPad 2 Scott was the trooper that got to the Apple Store at 6:45 am. As you can tell by this picture, he was tired! ;) Thanks Scott...

March Madness...

Scott's favorite time of year is MARCH. It's tradition to take Thursday and Friday off during the NCAA tourney to spend with his guys and watch Basketball all day. It has also become tradition for me to get away and have a girls weekend. This year, I ran away to Chicago with my Mom and we visited Bridget. It was so nice to relax and have some girl time with my Mom and sister. Sorry, no pictures from that weekend...I spent all my time shopping :)

Mama J needs to Party too...

This is a very delayed post but worth it. On Friday, March 11th we celebrated Jessamy's Birthday with a trip to our new favorite restaurant, Francesca's. Then began a little bar tour around the Capital to help Jessamy celebrate like she was 21 again. It was a amazing time. We had a blast...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!!
