This year the Gophers came to Madison so that meant the Hinrichs crew came to Madison too :) We enjoyed a weekend full of Hinrichs fun with the whole family. The Badgers won so that made 2/3 of the group happy! We tailgated early for the game and then continued the fun back at our house that night. Here are a few pictures from the tailgate...

Anniversary - Fruits & Flowers - #4

"If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden." :)

October 18th marked 4 years of marriage for the O'Hinrichs'. The theme of year 4 is fruit and flowers. We try to follow the theme each year and come up with fun anniversary gifts. This year we were blessed to have Scott's parents in town for the Gopher vs Badger game. They came down Thursday night to Madison to help babysit little Harper Rose. Logan and Katie also helped last minute, which we are very grateful for! We enjoyed our favorite dinner at Tornado Room thanks to my parents for the treat! Scott surprised me many times throughout "Annivesary Week" as he kept saying. It's crazy to think 4 years have passed and we love each other more today than the day we said "I do".

A visit from my favorite sister :)

Bridget came to town this past weekend for a fun visit. We watched the Badgers, shopped a little, and then spent time with the Mandli side of the family. It was a fun weekend catching up with my Mom's side of the family. We were even able to spend Saturday night toasting to Andy & Meaghan's 5th wedding Anniversary. I can't believe it's been 5 years! On Sunday we had family pictures and celebrated Kyle and Kristen's post wedding reception with the Mandli family.

Happy 4th Birthday to our favorite furry baby. We love our little Kirby!

Visit from Aunt Carol & Harper's First Babysitter

The weekend of September 28th Harper met her Great Aunt Carol from Hawaii :) Carol flew into Minneapolis and drove down with Grandma Linda for a weekend visit. We stayed up late to greet Carol and Linda. The next day we went to the Apple Orchard, watched the Badgers lose to Nebraska :(, and spent time catching up. It was a perfect weekend! I took many pictures but they are on a different camera, once I upload them I will share on the blog. In the meantime here are some other pictures over the last 2 weeks...

On Saturday, October 6th Harper had her first babysitter! It sounds scary but it wasn't at all! Harper's old daycare teacher spent the day with her at our house. It was the perfect babysitter! We went to the Badger game and celebrated with friends. This was my first time to let loose and it felt great. We missed Harper like crazy but it was nice to feel free and young again! (Note: Harper has been babysat before but always by a family member)
