Border Battle...

And the axe stays in WISCONSIN!! This past weekend was Homecoming 2010, the MN vs WI border battle, and in-law invasion. A fun filled weekend that was well deserved. The border battle has many meanings to our family. Scott's family lives in Minnesota and I have many Aunts/Uncles/Cousins that live up there too. Some of us cheer for MN and the smarter ones cheer for WI! (We still love MN no matter what!)

It was a great weekend and we couldn't have asked for better weather. It was 80 and sunny and probably the best tailgating weather so far this season. It was nice to see another badger win and spend time with great friends and family. Here are a few pictures to capture the fun...

Last Minute Landscaping...

After our trip to Chicago I had the urge to finally do something around our mailbox. It has been naked and ugly for a long time. I planted three perennials and some daffodil bulbs. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. A special thanks to my sick husband for helping me!! I promise no more projects on Sundays during football ;) HA!

Finished just before the sun set...

T-Shirt Time - Chicago Style

It was time for an overdue Chicago visit. We arrived late on Friday night and Bridget took us to an awesome pizza place called Piece. We sampled their house beers and then headed home to rest up for a full day of Football watching. Bridget took us to Cheetah in the morning for a much needed work out. We stopped at my favorite Italian deli, Lucia's, for the best sandwich ever made! Yum!! We spent most of the day at 6 Corners cheering on the Badgers. We didn't cheer loud enough, unfortunately we are now 3-1. We then drowned our sorrows with many more beers. We ended our trip to Chicago with a visit to Portillos on the way out of town. It was so nice to see Bridget! We are extra lucky because we get to see her again this weekend for the Homecoming game :) Woohoo!

Another Badger Saturday...

Just another Badger Saturday to report. This game wasn't as exciting, but still a good excuse to have some fun with friends and family. We managed to stop by Casey's tailgate again. Sarah was fired up because she scored this awesome shirt from the Budweiser girls. The game was a blow out, but the weather was perfect. Enjoy some pictures...

Senorita Caitlin

Caitlin, Scott, Mary Bridget, and Samson came up to Madison for the Badgers vs. ASU game. We started the festivities with some tequila shots (obviously) with the families. It was a tough game but the Badgers managed to pull off the W, and that's all that matters. After MANY hours of tailgating we spent some time back at the Nowicki Casa. I love it when Caitlin comes to visit and spending time with the Nowicki Clan. Next up, a visit from Sara?!?! See you ladies over the holidays...I can't wait!!

I will be an Inside Sales Representative selling the Rayovac Hearing Aid Battery to Audiologists across the Country.

I'm very excited... :)

Sarah's Sweet 30th Birthday Party

Happy 30th Birthday to Sarah Mahoney. Sarah had a Super Sweet 30th Birthday Bash at Logan's Bar downtown. Party dresses, champagne, cupcakes, and a giant beer bong. It was a blast and we were so thrilled to be a part of her special party! Happy Birthday to Sarah...
