Hockey 2010 Home Opener
New Seats! New Year! A big thanks to Mr. Sodersten for helping us upgrade our seats this year. We are now on the RED LINE for Friday Night Hockey games! We are still about 10 rows up and can see everything. We kicked off the Home Opener with a nice little treat, free icecream from Culver's! Oh, and a WIN! Woohoo!
Happy 2nd Birthday Mrs. Kirbster...
On Monday, October 12th Kirby turned 2 years old. We celebrated her birthday in style with an afternoon Birthday run, some special treats, a delicious meaty bone, and some new toys. She was a tired little puppy by bedtime. We love her to pieces and had fun celebrating her special day! Happy Birthday Kirby Hinrichs!

Border Battle...
And the axe stays in WISCONSIN!! This past weekend was Homecoming 2010, the MN vs WI border battle, and in-law invasion. A fun filled weekend that was well deserved. The border battle has many meanings to our family. Scott's family lives in Minnesota and I have many Aunts/Uncles/Cousins that live up there too. Some of us cheer for MN and the smarter ones cheer for WI! (We still love MN no matter what!)
It was a great weekend and we couldn't have asked for better weather. It was 80 and sunny and probably the best tailgating weather so far this season. It was nice to see another badger win and spend time with great friends and family. Here are a few pictures to capture the fun...

Kirbster...
Just some pictures of my baby. She deserves some love on here every once and awhile.
Yawning :)
Last Minute Landscaping...
After our trip to Chicago I had the urge to finally do something around our mailbox. It has been naked and ugly for a long time. I planted three perennials and some daffodil bulbs. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. A special thanks to my sick husband for helping me!! I promise no more projects on Sundays during football ;) HA!
T-Shirt Time - Chicago Style
It was time for an overdue Chicago visit. We arrived late on Friday night and Bridget took us to an awesome pizza place called Piece. We sampled their house beers and then headed home to rest up for a full day of Football watching. Bridget took us to Cheetah in the morning for a much needed work out. We stopped at my favorite Italian deli, Lucia's, for the best sandwich ever made! Yum!! We spent most of the day at 6 Corners cheering on the Badgers. We didn't cheer loud enough, unfortunately we are now 3-1. We then drowned our sorrows with many more beers. We ended our trip to Chicago with a visit to Portillos on the way out of town. It was so nice to see Bridget! We are extra lucky because we get to see her again this weekend for the Homecoming game :) Woohoo!
