Texas 2011 - Meghan's Wedding
Once again - this post is very overdue! October 6th - October 9th we went to Dallas/Fort Worth for Scott's cousins wedding. This was my first time to Texas and our tour guide, Brent, didn't disappoint! Here are many pictures from the fun we had in Texas...
Fall, Fun, and Football...
Happy 60th to Daddy O!
November 7th is Mike O'Malley's 60th Birthday! We played a fun prank on him on October 29th and threw him a SURPRISE Birthday party at Dahmen's Pizza Pub right by my parents house. He was shocked! Everyone celebrated his Birthday with beer, pizza, and some Badger Football. Sadly the Badgers lost to Ohio State that night but we still managed to celebrate in true Badger Fan/O'Malley fashion.
Happy 60th Dad - make it a very special day!
SURPRISE!! The ladies below are old HOOTERS employees. Dahmen's is where the old Hooters was located in Madison back in the day.

The Year of Leather = 3 years!
On October 18th we celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. It's crazy to think how much we've done in the past 3 years as a married couple. It's tradition for us to watch our wedding video, wedding slideshow, look through pictures, and listen to our Wedding CD. It's dorky but we love doing it. We celebrated for a few days by starting with a trip to the Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch because that's what we did the day we got engaged. Then on our actual Anniversary we went to our favorite restaurant - Tornado Room!
Happy Anniversary :)

No more terrible two's...
Not that the 2's were all that terrible...but our puppy is now all grown up! She celebrated her 3rd Birthday today. Sadly her special long Birthday run/walk will be postponed til tomorrow when it isn't raining. Life without Kirby wouldn't be complete! We love her to pieces! Happy Birthday Kirby Hinrichs :)

WE'RE HALF WAY THERE...
As Bon Jovi says "We're half way there..." Yesterday, September 19th marked a BIG milestone - 20 weeks! We've been looking forward to this day for a long time. We haven't seen the baby via ultrasound since our 8 week appointment and we couldn't wait to see "Baby H" again. It was incredible to see how much has changed over the weeks. We were very lucky that our doctor provided 4D pictures for us during the ultrasound. The pictures were so incredibly life like. The babies heartbeat was 155. Right away the baby wouldn't sit still for pictures. Watching the legs move was like watching someone ride a bike. Our baby is very active. By the time the technician tried to take pictures of the babies face she/he had become camera shy and kept her/his hands up at the face hiding. The big 20 week ultrasound is the time where couples can find out the sex of their baby. We have decided to wait for the baby's birthday to find out what we are having. I will try to scan the ultrasound pictures for your viewing...
Week 20
Last week Scott painted the nursery, we picked up the crib, and got the dresser. It's slowly coming together...pictures to come soon!
Badgers in Chicago...
This past weekend we headed to Chicago for the Badger game @ Soldier Field vs NIU. We spent some time with Scott's fraternity brothers before the game. Tailgating in Chicago was a little different than tailgating back in Madison...we were on a yacht. It was nice to see Kinney, Zoelle, and Aflac. Within the past 6 months they've all had baby boys so we finally were able to meet the newest additions to their families. We went to the game, our tickets were fantastic...but the weather was much hotter than predicted. The Badgers won 49-7. After the game Bridget picked us up and we went back to her place to spend time with Lola and relax. It was so nice to spend some much needed time with my sister and her little "meatball".
